Under the Visiting Journalist Programme (VJP), Sri Lanka Tourism invites international travel journalists, media channels from the key source markets to explore various aspects of destination Sri Lanka and facilitate them to create unique promotional content about the island experiences to share within their global viewers and readers. TV Channels, Travel Periodicals and many other traditional & online news media channels are to host under this annual promotional Programme

Sri Lanka Tourism has identified Travel Bloggers and Social media influencers as highly effective in destination promotions to create experience driven personalized travel memories and influence a vast number of potential holiday seekers via various Travel Blogs & Social Media Platforms. Visiting Blogger Programme (VBP) is an annual Programme where selected international travel influencers and digital storytellers host by offering tailored travel experiences within the destination Sri Lanka
